When it comes to printing, EIS sees everything through green-coloured glasses. With an eye towards minimizing our environmental footprint, supporting sustainability is an integral part of our mandate.

The EIS solution gets high marks for its many environmentally friendly features:

• The same blanket can be rejuvenated many times – each treatment restores the blanket to its original quality. The average is 4 cycles, but EIS has seen a blanket undergo as many as 12 successful treatments.
• The lifespan of an EIS-treated blanket is now at minimum 4 times longer than before.
• Once a blanket can no longer be rejuvenated, its aluminium bars, rubber and fabric materials are stripped and broken down for other uses - with the goal of never ending up in a land fill. Local highways and track fields are just a few of the applications for these recycled products.
